Dave Sanders plots 'awesome' next steps after sale of Zoom+ to Peace Health

Two months after selling Zoom+Care, co-founders Dr. Dave Sanders and Dr. Albert DiPiero have formed a new health care venture. The two founded Awesome Studios, which Sanders said will assemble “a portfolio of business inventions" they will fund and launch. While similar to an incubator, the organization won't go out and hunt for entrepreneurs, Sanders said.
“We’re not doing that — we’re producing businesses,” he said. "We’re building a stable of inventions.”
Sanders and DiPiero sold Zoom+ at the end of December to Vancouver, Washington-based PeaceHealth for an undisclosed sum. The pair had founded several health startups before opening a single ZoomCare urgent care clinic in
2006.
